The Enlightenment of the Statement “Beauty Is Cumulative Emergence”—Problem of Ideas and Method in Aesthetic Study

Abstract
The aesthetics of praxis, as revealed by the sociological school of aesthetics of the former Soviet Union, and according to Marx's idea of "the objective projection of human essential force", looks at aesthetics as the human beings press their own essential force onto an object in the process of praxis, and a spiritual value comprehended by human beings in the objects being observed. But owing to its advocates had only engaged their studies according to epistemology, resulting in neglecting the inner relationship between value and review, separating beauty from the sense of beauty, and putting them into opposition, while making aesthetics of praxis towards a pure theory and metaphysics. Professor Jiang Kongyang found this mistake quite early, and he tried to convert to "starting from real life" in order to solve the problem with "empirical complex". Failed to completely combine with the methodology of the theory of value, it also could not attain the unity of theory and practice in the spirit of the aesthetics of praxis. Now we inherit Professor Jiang Kongyang's will, we are to promote this study based on his scholastic achievements, which would be the most honest and most practical way in commemorating his 100th birthday after his life.
