The Blessing、The Weeds and Lu Xun’s Unique Philosophy of Life

Abstract: From the narrative point of view, The Blessing has two form problems which have not attracted enough attention of Lu Xun Research Circle so far. When these two problems are more satisfactorily explained, we were surprised to find that the philosophical connotation of the Blessing, is different approaches but equally results with Lu Xun’s other works such as The Passer-by, The Soldier, The Dead Fire and The Farewell to the Shadow in The Weeds, and each has its irreplaceable function and value. That is, to make a living for the ordinary people in the desperate situation. Compared with the conclusion of " exposed the man-devouring nature of feudal society”, making a living for ordinary people in despair perhaps is more valuable to The Blessing.
