Abstract: Based on extensive and in-depth research on villages,field politics has made many beneficial attempts to contribute to the production of political science knowledge in China.Digital space has led to the transformation of the social foundation,governance interface,and governance methods of national governance,becoming a new field for field politics.The iteration of field domains has created opportunities and raised requirements for the expansion and innovation of research methods and topics in field politics.Specifically,field politics can introduce research methods such as network ethnography and digital field experiments to adapt its research methods;based on empirical changes in digital space,it can reconstruct classic concepts such as peasant nature and household system;and by capturing emerging phenomena in digital space,it can update the research topics of field politics.
