Abstract
Mr.No Problem reflects Lao She’s reflection on the situation of Anti-Japanese War and literature.By describing how Shuhua Farm operated,Lao She’s awareness of examining culture and criticizing human nature was strengthened, extending from economic issues to cultural and human issues, and triggering reflections on how Anti-Japanese literature handled the relationship between “emotion” and “reason”.Lao She’s reflection on this issue reflects his observation of the social mechanism of Anti-Japanese War,and also integrates his earnest expectations for how Anti-Japanese Literature can express reality and how to refine national cultural traditions to participate in the construction of modern nation-state.
