    A Brief Analysis of “Social Theories of China”

    • Abstract

      “Social theory of China” refers to various social theories constructed by Chinese scholars in China. According to whether they are generally applicable to all societies or only applicable to Chinese society,they can be first divided into general theory,domain theory and “social theory on China” which is only applicable to Chinese society.According to the thought or theoretical resources used for reference in their construction,they can be divided into two categories of theories originating from Chinese native discourse and those originating from Western/foreign discourse.Therefore,we can get a more complex social theory classification model than Merton‘s model,and use it to describe and analyze the development of the current social theories of China.

          Abstract: “Social theory of China” refers to various social theories constructed by Chinese scholars in China.
