Eight Problems to be Faced in the Historicization of Contemporary Literature Studies

Abstract

With the change of context and the advancement of overall scholarship, people have been thinking more and more deeply about the “historicization” of contemporary literature, and the previously implied deep literary view, historical view and value, as well as their understanding and evaluation of the overall contemporary literature, etc., have begun to emerge and inevitably come before us. Choose eight related problems, through the subjective and objective, history and reality, facts and ideas and other multidimensional interpretation, this article discusses “how to historicize” or “how to reconstruct history” in contemporary literature, hoping that on the basis of in-depth reflection and inventory, it can contribute to the tangled “historicization” research and its overall understanding and evaluation of contemporary literature.
